About Single Cell Project

Welcome to Single cell project webpage,

Organisms are composed of one or more cells with various characteristics. To understand a life phenomenon to in vivo, it is important to know the property of each cell. This project aims to develop a highly precise analysis technology which enables to measure the property of the individual cell and its dynamic change, comprehensively.

The members of this project are from a wide variety of RIKEN centers such as CLST, QBiC, ACCC, BRC, BSI, CDB, IMS, and Maeda bio laboratory. They approach the project from every viewpoint using various techniques at the field, emphasizing the strength of RIKEN as “a multidisciplinary research institute” and aiming at the future development and application alive.
